Scheduling & Sequencing
Joseph Contracting superintendents are the on-site leaders, coordinating the various trades in a cohesive manner while maintaining the schedule and trade sequence. They collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to create a timeline that aligns with project milestones. Their expertise allows them to anticipate potential challenges and devise strategies to keep the construction process on track.
Safety & Quality
The primary responsibility of the project superintendent is to ensure the project proceeds in the safest manner possible and is achieving quality workmanship and construction. Safety and quality are priorities that override the progress of the project. In the case of specialty systems or building components, an area superintendent may be assigned to oversee a specific part of the construction to assure quality and schedule controls are monitored.
Building Coordination
Effective communication is essential in construction coordination. Our superintendets serve as a central point of contact, facilitating communication between owner, architect and the building. They keep all parties informed about project progress, changes in plans, and any challenges that may impact the construction timeline.
